Your top twenty within five days. Full gallery in 4 weeks.

The final number depends on your date and anything you add. You will get a real one on the call, not a range.

How it works

Eight steps from the first email to your finished photographs. Most of them are ours to do.

  1. Booking

    1. Check the date

Send the form. Within a day you will know whether we are free, and roughly what it costs.

    2. A call

Twenty minutes, phone or video. What the day looks like, what you care about, whether we are a fit. No pitch.

    3. Contract and retainer

A signed contract and a $1,000 retainer hold the date. The rest is due a month before. Everything we have promised is in the contract, including what happens if the date moves.

  2. Before the day

    1. Timeline and family list

A few weeks out we build the photo timeline with you, and write down exactly who is in which family group. Naming them beforehand is the difference between fifteen minutes of group photos and an hour of shouting across a lawn.

  3. The day

    1. The wedding

We shoot. Both of us, the whole time.

  4. After

    1. Your top twenty, in five days

The twenty best frames from the day, finished first, while it is all still fresh. The full gallery is nowhere near ready at this point and that is fine.

    2. Your gallery, in four weeks

Every frame worth keeping, edited and yours to download. Your guests get their own link to the same gallery, so nobody has to text you asking for photos.

    3. Choose your retouches

Everything in the gallery arrives color-corrected. You then pick twenty-five frames to be finished by hand. Prints and albums are ordered from the same page, printed by a proper lab rather than a drugstore.

      Try it

0 of 5 picked in this demo

Everything in your gallery arrives color-corrected and downloadable. These are the ones you pick to be finished by hand: skin, stray objects, whatever needs it. The proof label marks which is which.

Questions

Can we see a full wedding, not just your best photos?

Yes. Ask and we will send a complete gallery from a recent wedding, start to finish, not a highlight reel. Indoors, outdoors, bad light and all.

How many photographs do we get?

No cap on the gallery. Every frame worth keeping is color-corrected and delivered. A full day is usually 500 to 800 photographs. Twenty-five of those get finished by hand, and you choose which ones.

When do we get them?

The top twenty photos within five days. The full gallery within four weeks.

Do you travel?

Yes. No travel fee within 50 miles of Chicago. Further out we quote what it actually costs to get there.

What happens if it rains, or the light is bad?

We shoot it anyway. We both started in street photography, and most of that is bad light.

What if one of you is ill?

The other covers the day, and we bring in a photographer we have worked with before.
